Due to its excellent thermal and electrical conductivity, as well as its ability to withstand high temperatures, graphite is widely used in industries like electronics, energy storage, and aerospace. It’s the key anode material in lithium-ion batteries used in electric vehicles.
Graphite Mining Project – Upper Subansiri, Arunachal Pradesh:
SCPL plans to open a graphite mine in this region. Scientific studies are completed, and clearance applications filed. Graphite occurs as crystalline and amorphous types, mostly within calc-silicate rocks and marble.
